Memory 31
Significant Negative: What in the hell makes you think I'm going to ask for it? (Recreation 19)
This video, 4:20 to the end. HOWEVER, the speech at the end actually comes first.
Intermittent part
He's actually zoned out in the middle of a conversation, remembering something, but it's all fuzzy and blank because Other Memories, but he's brought back with his name.
There is also an extra scene, between the speech and going after Simmons, he goes to get 'equipment' only to find someone else was making a deal.
He has to go to the armory to get certain things put back into his armor and get weapons and ammo. There is some...judgement, and mutterings of 'psycho can't even be without his armor,' but he ignores it, instead feeling better with proper equipment. (Really he's in prison in ARMOR and a gun because machima, but hell, I'll use the explanation they gave him only the basic stuff because he had a mental break down without it. The worst security blankets.) Until he sees who else is helping him. After all, someone needs to be used to using all the equipment to even manage and there's only one person like that.
He sees Maine, getting his armor. For a moment, their eyes meet, and there's....there's no hate on Maine's face, but he decides it's not Maine. He's too cold, too distant. It's the Meta. Despite himself, however, he notices Meta can still function. Maybe...he's not completely lost.
It's a half thought, something he doesn't focus on, and instead just establishes that he's in charge by giving orders immediately. The Meta obeys, and they head to Valhalla. They only find two life signatures, however, so he tells Maine to deal with them while he goes around the outside, see if he can find the rest of the Reds and Blues.
There's screaming and gun fire and eventually he comes into the canyon and so goes the shooting Donut confrontation.
Short Summary
Agent Washington is staring at a wall and there's a distant voice calling his name. He suddenly snaps to attention, looking to an old man. It's clear Washington zoned out for a minute there, but they continue the conversation. He asks why Washington thinks the Blue Soldiers will hand over the Epsilon unit if he asks for it.
Washington says he's been lied to, taken advantage of, shot in the back, and left for dead and now he has a way out of all that. He's not going to be asking for it.
The Chairman accepts this and Wash is led to get equipment. There are guards who judge and whisper about him as he passes and he doesn't give them any mind, but its clear he's been considered crazy a while. The next scene is him walking into an armory and sees the Meta. There is a jerk back at first.
And then a lot of aggression, Wash establishing he's in charge of getting the AI, the Meta growling in response. It's pretty clear whatever terms they're on, it's not friendly. Even so, Wash looks at the Meta a lot.
The next scene is them approaching a canyon in a car, the scanner saying there's two life signatures. Even so, Wash sends off Meta towards the signatures while Wash rounds back to see if he can find the rest.
Then there's a lot of screaming and gun fire and Wash decides to go see what's up since he can't find signs of the others. And he sees the Meta approaching Simmons, Donut, and Lopez. He tells Meta to stand down and he approaches, demanding the Epsilon unit. Simmons DEFINITELY knows Wash and is confused at him working with the Meta. For those who know Spanish, Lopez thought Wash was Simmons' friend.
When Simmons just asks questions, Wash pulls out his pistol. There's a brief moment where he stares at Simmons a bit too long, then he shoots Lopez to the other two's horror.
And then he shoots Donut. He doesn't even lower the gun, just staring at where he fired even as Simmons freaks out and tries to help Donut as he's bleeding out. It takes several long moments before he lowers the gun, let's out a heavy breath, and the memory ends.
