Neutral Neutral: Counseling (13.14)

This video starting at 0:35 to 2:13 and starting up at 5:46 to the end.

Short Summary:
Welcome to Washington is trying to prevent two groups from tearing each other apart and he's a stressed out mother hen.

Wash finds his colorful Reds and Blues and tells them how Kimball's people are threatening to leave the Capital, while Doyle's people are setting a perimeter to keep them in, and they're about to start another civil war. Sarge flirtsassures Wash they have it under control. Because COUNSELING.

Wash is not paid enough for any of this. He's not getting paid at all.

They get Kimball and Doyle together and Doc says they're going to do a down to earth counseling session to work through their problems. Neither Kimball nor Doyle are paid enough for this either.

Doc starts off with roleplaying and tries it out with Grif. Grif gives zero effort, and Doc's voice suddenly changes as he psychologically assaults Grif bringing up an assortment of family issues, eating to fill the void, and problem with authority, which all seems on the money. Doc then is a lot nicer and apologizes about the weird shift. Sarge thinks they're making progress.

Counseling continues. Reds and Blues keep demonstrating. Caboose does not like being called stupid, Tucker hates he's involved, Caboose has amazing bounce back. There is a Speaking Ball that is a giant soccer ball. Neither General thinks this will work because it's a break down of cooperation. Kimball thinks the city is a death trap, Doyle says it's suicide to split up, Kimball wants to do something instead of waste time.

Carolina and Epislon the floating semi-transparent floating man show up to this mess. Kimball is done and ready to walk, and Doc tries to salvage the situation, to get them to say something nice.

Kimball thought Doyle was a tyrant and now realizes he's just a stubborn, incompetent one.

Doyle thinks Kimball is too eager to die for her beliefs, but she's also one of the most courageous people he's ever met to everyone's surprise. He wish he could be as brave, but he's not, and he's afraid for his people. Like Kimball is. Kimball thinks it's just cheap compliments, and Doyle wants her to stop fighting him.

Wash tries to calm things down then when suddenly there's explosions in the distance. The radio comes on to announce an attack. Doyle says they wouldn't risk a bombing run, but the enemy isn't, they have ground forces coming in.
