Memory 26

Significant Negative: Murder Fridge. (15.10.5)

Starts at 3:31 to the end

Short Summary:
Is on an island with Carolina, hidden by some trees, watching an approaching ship with sniper rifles. Then he sees who comes up and makes Carolina guess because it's just. It's so dumb.

They approach to TWO sets of Reds and Blues. Wash thinks it's robot doubles. It's not. It's dopplegangers complete with alternate names of Temple, Surge, Loco, etc. They came into a trap Carolina and Wash set for people hunting Freelancers. Apparently it's the UNSC and they might be nuking from orbit????? Also Church is alive????

They go off to an underwater base and get the run down. UNSC is killing ex-Freelancers and Sim Troopers to cover up all the questionable shit they did. Questionable shit not explained, they just all know what it Is.

Carolina would like to use a reporter they have to expose the UNSC for these underhanded tactics because she's sick of killing all their problems and would like to end it in a courtroom For Once. She's having a bit of a crisis. The Reds and Blues and Blues and Reds would like to strike back at the UNSC. Temple especially and he seems to have Tucker on board. Especially when their foe is too big, their only advantage is they're being pursued.

But Temple decides strategy can wait after breakfast. Of fish. And shows Wash and Carolina around the base.

To a room at the bottom of the base where there's some Freelancer Relics Temple thinks they'd be interested in.

They go into the room and see Freelancer armor set up in various poses, people Wash and Carolina recognize.

Then Wash smells something vile and says Temple needs to check the plumbing. Carolina realizes it's not sewage.

The Freelancers are STILL IN THE ARMOR.

And Temple reveals he lied about the UNSC. HE'S the one killing ex-Freelancers. As revenge for what Freelancer did to him, and what Carolina did especially, though he doesn't say what that is.

Wash and Carolina are ready to throw down when Temple hits a button on a remote and locks their armor. They can't move, trapped in their armor.

Temple tells them the record for surviving in the room with a little over eight days and encourages Carolina to do better and walks away, leaving them there.
