Positive Trivial: I am going. To break you. Private Tucker. (11.4)
From 1:07 to 2:48 then 4:21 to 4:50 then some commentary at 5:22
Short Summary:
Talking to Tucker about the purpose of Basic Training is to break their soldiers to overcome their civilian mindsets to become true soldiers. Tucker tries to claim he is a soldier, but doesn't know the UNSC motto and says it's 'when in doubt, rub one out.' Wash is going to break him. Tucker sasses him. Wash has set up an obstacle course for him. Tucker still sasses. Wash shoots him in the ass (at the thick armor) to get him running.
There is the sound of bullets and gunfire as Tucker is running through, along with him shouting complaints. And maybe hallucinating a bit from the exertion. His time was adequate for a beginner. Tucker is exhausted and shaking in his armor and Wash is being smug. Then Caboose runs by, looking far more cheerful and Wash asks him to do the obstacle course.
Or tries as Caboose does the whole thing before the question is even out. Wash is a bit stunned and decides training is done as he goes to work on the comm tower.
Walks through their crash site camp to Red Base. He needs his toolbox that they borrowed from them and they're having some kind of argument about toilet paper. It honestly looks like they're playing House, especially as Sarge treats a stack of bags not even shin high as if it was a wall. Wash just demands to be shown his toolbox and Grif leads the way.
It's....it's a horrowshow of a mess. Chaos and garbage and crumbs everywhere with one part of the room attempting to remain clean, but it's having to fight Grif's mess. There's a lot of picking through things trying to find his toolbox and then he finds his socks. Very. Stiff and crusty socks.
He gets his toolbox as quick as possible and leaves.
