Support MK through his grief, no time for his own. And now he's sitting beside the bed after MK went to sleep to go chase Cole around his dreams, and there's nothing to do but wait. ]

[ He sends a useless hour trying to talk himself down and getting nowhere. Be considers calling Red, but first he wants to be centered. Not make things worse for Red than they are. ]

[ Macaque overheard almost everything. Wylan was a mess, his heart affected by some fucked up alchemy, and he was being hateful to boot. Wash then vanished into the well-soundproofed Research Center to get to the bottom of it, and Macaque guesses he did, because he came out of there a bit injured but then Wylan got fixed up. ]

[ It's shady as fuck, however that's not why Macaque contacts Wash after a while (giving him time to get Wylan settled in and to take a moment). ]

That all fucking sucked. What do you need?

Maybe distance would do it. A soft touch and distance might have been the combo needed.

I think distance might also help in the comparison thing. I tried to not do that, but sometimes I have to empathize our situations to get him to actually respond to me. Though that could just be because of my position.

But yeah, if we could get him to actually go to therapy...
